Today’s Podcast is using Three Column Sorting to help teach your material. This is template “O” from the teaching templates from the gallery. (go to teachingwithsmartboard.com to get the gallery collection file “Teaching Templates” and it will automatically load into your “my content” gallery.
Using three column sorting you can define the categories and then make your items that go into the categories. This podcast explains how to get the template from the website teachingwithsmartboard.com.We also discuss a lesson from Steve Batts on Geometry involving parallel lines and a transversal.Of course, we have a few jokes included for you.
In episode 61 we cover a teaching template called category sorting with named categories. This is a great template for higher order thinking. The students may or may not be able to quickly idenify the categories that are within all of the items on a slide. This template is available from our website at http://teachingwithsmartboard.com. Go to the resources tab and then find the lesson templates.
We also cover a Jeopardy template in smartboard that was given to us by a listener. It is very easy to edit and is a great review for your classes. Enjoy.
Lastly, we made a igoogle button on our website so that you can add our blog to your igoogle homepage and know whenever we upload a new podcast.
Oh yeah, don't forget the new jokes that we have this week. We have a site for you to go to to check out a bunch of new clean fun 4th grade humor jokes.
