Lesson Activity Toolkit 1 (this is the first of we don’t know how many)

Do you want fast interactive lessons?  The Lesson Activity Toolkit is a great way to start. There are ready to go lesson structures as well as tool that you can easily incorporate into your lessons.  We will be exploring this toolkit over the next few weeks.  Our first items are the information button, the flipper, and the vortex lesson structure.  If you don’t have version 10 of smartboard notebook software, you should check it out.  We also go over a lesson by Judy Skramstad incorporating the table feature with a table shade.

Please join us for this video podcast at iTunes or teacher tube.

Senteo is an instant feedback system that works great with Smartboard.  Scott Miller takes us through some of the features of Senteo that would be easy to incorporate into your classroom.  Tune in and see what the latest Smartboard craze is and how you can use it in your class.  We also talk about the text to voice website that is free.  It creates an MP3 file for you.  You can just drag that file into Smartboard, or just link the sound file to a picture or some text in your notebook file.  Please join us for this video podcast at iTunes or teacher tube.

The Smartboard is great to sort items.  In this week’s Podcast we do some Sound Sorting.  Sounds are easy to make and import into Smartboard.  This lesson will sort Spanish words into different categories.  It is similar to memory game where you have to click on the sound and then remember where it was.  We also talk about making sound in Audacity, a free download.  Lastly we go to a site that discusses domain and range of a function.    Please join us for this video podcast at iTunes or teacher tube.
